BUB...... Of COURSE you may have my *secret* recipe....As long as you PROMISE never to divulge it to any of your SPAM lovin buddies! I KNOW how you guys all like to save a buck! I been saving this SPAM recipe a LONGTIME and hope to get rich off it someday!!! I even substituted in some *Chicken Parts* so it will qualify as SPAM *LITE*! _____________________Homemade SPAM_____________________ ONE 3# CAN *PACKED* CHICKEN PARTS (lips, knees, toes, innards...ANY *THINGS* but the beak, bones and feathers!) ONE 3# CAN *PACKED* PORK PARTS (samething...snouts,knuckles, lips, tongue, tripe, tail, ect. ALL parts are suitable except the bones.) (Just use *Whatever* you got on hand!) TWO 3# CANS of LARD (DON'T USE Crisco! It adds NO flavor and makes it taste YUKKY!) GRIND UP ALL THE *PARTS* pretty fine...(if you *Cant Tell* WHAT IT USED TO BE.... it is ground small enough!!) Melt the lard in LARGE kettle and add the *GROUND PARTS* stirring often. Bring just to boilin point, remove from heat & add 3 Tbls 'Liquid Smoke' and 1/2 C red food color (makes it look *hammy*). Stir in 6 Cups rolled oats (this lowers the fat content!) Pour back into the coffee cans and chill well! VOILA!! SPAM!!! ( NOW YOU GOT IT *MADEINTHESHADE* BUB ) This should make at least a weeks supply if you are cafeful and dont *PiG-Out*.. Oh yeah... you should try it in lasagna!!
